Volkswagen has just revealed the new 2025 Volkswagen Tayron with gasoline and plug-in hybrid options will be coming very soon. This new Tayron will serve as a seven-seat version of the latest Volkswagen Tiguan while still having some electric range to fall back on for more efficiency. The 2025 Tayron Hybrid offers excellent power and becomes an electric car for everyday driving with an electric range of over 60 miles! The 2025 Volkswagen Tayron will be released in fall 2024 and is available to order right now at select dealers.

2025 Volkswagen Tayron Specs

You can expect the entry-level 2025 Volkswagen Tayron to include a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 148 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. This engine features hybrid tech allowing it to run on just two cylinders, saving fuel over time. Volkswagen has also announced they will sell the Tayron with optional 2.0 TSI gas engines. One engine will supply up to 148 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque, and the other with up to 261 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.

The new Tayron is set to have a 12-inch infotainment system with an extremely large optional 15-inch touchscreen inside, which will make viewing entertainment easier and more clear than ever before. Some technology and features to look forward to include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED headlights including automatic main beam control, 3D tail light clusters, sun blinds in the rear doors, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Pricing for the entry-level 2025 Volkswagen Tayron will start at around $50,000 MSRP.
